As a Senior Linux System Administrator, you will:
- Manage, maintain, and monitor Linux servers and applications (RHEL, CentOS).
- Handle system deployment, patching, and configuration management.
- Perform system and security audits, vulnerability assessments, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure high availability.
- Support users and IT teams with technical guidance and issue resolution.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when needed.
What You Bring
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration (preferably in banking/finance).
- Strong knowledge of LVM, virtualization (VMware), and containerization (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, load balancing.
- Experience with storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) and automation tools (Ansible Tower/Automation Platform).
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket and configuration management.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and working in ITIL environments.
- Certifications like RHCSA/RHCE are a plus.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
- English level B2 (mandatory); French is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Fast learner, adaptable, and team-oriented.
- Availability for on-call duty (mandatory).
