YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND TEAM

We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Integration Engineer. As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating various external data sources and customer systems into our central data platform. You will work closely with our Data Science, DevOps and Product teams to operationalize data models, integrate new data sources, optimize data streams to enable us and our clients to extract actionable insights and execute impactful decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • You are responsible for the design, development and implementation of data integration solutions that seamlessly integrate various external data sources and customers into our central data platform.
  • You will work with interdisciplinary teams to understand data requirements, define integration strategies and ensure that these meet business objectives.
  • You will support the data scientists in making models productive and optimizing data pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
  • You will use technologies such as Azure native cloud services, Kubernetes, Python, Postgres and other common databases to design robust and scalable data solutions.
  • You implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security during the integration process.
  • You monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot errors, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • You stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data integration capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO THRIVE
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience in data integration.
  • You have proven experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions in a cloud environment, ideally using Azure native services.
  • You are proficient in data integration tools.
  • You have strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation and scripting tasks.
  • You have experience working with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes to deploy and manage data applications.
  • You have a solid understanding of relational databases, such as Postgres, and are familiar with SQL queries.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and pay close attention to detail, as well as a proactive attitude.
  • You communicate effectively and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary teams.
