Job Title: Finance & Accounting Associate (German-speaking)
Location: Porto, Portugal (On-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 09:00–18:00
Days Off: Saturday & Sunday
Contract: Permanent (with 90-day trial period)

We are seeking a German-speaking Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team in Porto. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have experience in Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations and are looking to grow within a dynamic and international environment. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash (O2C) activities

Process customer invoices, payments, and reconciliations

Handle account inquiries and resolve discrepancies
-
Monitor overdue accounts and support collections processes
-
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
-
Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate transaction records

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support end-to-end finance processes
-
Provide high-quality customer service to clients and partners

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields

Fluency in German (C2) and advanced English (C1)

Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable / O2C / Finance operations

Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles

Proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables preferred)

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) is a plus

Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills

Detail-oriented with strong customer-service mindset
