We're seeking a hands-on, collaborative Enterprise Security Engineer to help mature and scale Five9's corporate and IT security program. You'll design, implement, and maintain the technical controls that secure our systems, endpoints, identities, and data, working cross-functionally to reduce risk, strengthen defenses, and support compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Secure Corporate Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and manage security for corporate endpoints in a fully distributed environment.
• Deploy and operate security tools (MDM, EDR/XDR, ZTNA, SSO).
• Implement zero-trust principles: device trust, conditional access, least privilege.
• Enforce security baselines, hardening standards, and compliance policies.
• Build and maintain secure authentication and identity workflows.

Drive Risk Reduction

• Lead initiatives for endpoint hardening, identity security, and infrastructure protection.
• Partner with IT and business teams to implement practical, scalable controls.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures.

Detection, Response & Automation

• Respond to security incidents affecting corporate systems.
• Partner with Detection & Response to build alerts, detections, and monitoring.

Identity & Access Management

• Support secure provisioning, MFA adoption, and privileged access workflows.
• Review and maintain least-privilege access across systems and apps.

Documentation, Compliance & Education

• Maintain security documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).
• Promote security best practices and serve as a trusted advisor company-wide.

Security Culture & Education

• Evangelize security best practices through education, training, and internal communications.
• Serve as a trusted security advisor across the organization.

Requirements:

Must-Have

• 2+ years in enterprise/corporate/IT security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • MDM platforms: JAMF, Intune, etc.
  • EDR/XDR Solutions: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.
  • Identity and Access Management: Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, etc.
  • Authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM
  • Zero Trust Architectures: device trust, conditional access, least privilege
  • SaaS security posture management (SSPM)
• Ability to drive projects independently and work cross-functionally.
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, risk-based approach to security.

Nice-to-Have

• Detection engineering or SOC experience.
• Knowledge of modern attacker techniques and social engineering threats.
• Compliance experience (SOC 2, ISO
• BYOD and contractor/vendor access security.
• Cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure).
