YOUR ROLE

At Capgemini Engineering Portugal, we're looking for an
Innovation Funding & Research Programs Manager
to lead the identification and management of national and European innovation funding opportunities

Responsible for identifying, structuring, and managing national and international funding opportunities for research and innovation projects aligned with Capgemini Engineering Portugal's strategic goals.

This role is key to maximizing the impact and return on R&D investments through participation in programs such as PRR, Horizon Europe, EDF, among others.

Funding Opportunity Identification:

• Continuously monitor, map funding opportunities across national and international programs aligned with our innovation strategy.

Consortium and Partnership Management:

• Identify and build consortia with partners, clients, and academic institutions for joint proposal submissions.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment for joint proposal submissions.

Proposal Preparation and Submission:

• Coordinate and write funding proposals, ensuring technical quality and alignment with evaluation criteria.
• Maximize approval chances through effective writing and structuring strategies.

Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure internal approval and submission processes comply with Capgemini Engineering Group policies.
• Coordinate with legal and Legal and Financial departments to ensure contractual compliance.

Follow-up and Notification Management:

• Manage communications and notifications with funding bodies, ensuring continuous project follow-up.

Incentive and Subsidy Management:

• Stay up to date with rules and opportunities for innovation subsidies.
• Propose strategies to increase the company's access to available incentives.

Tax Credit (SIFIDE) Management:

• Lead the SIFIDE application process, ensuring maximization of tax benefits.
• Coordinate with technical and financial teams to gather evidence and documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles, with direct involvement in innovation funding programs.
• Deep knowledge of national and European funding mechanisms.
• Strong technical writing and project management skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
