Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hostel Receptionist based in Lisbon. The Receptionist will handle front desk operations by greeting guests, checking them in and out, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing reservations, responding to inquiries, addressing guest needs promptly, and assisting with basic administrative tasks. You will also help create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests from around the globe, consistently upholding Safestay's commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, communication, and handling guest relations
  • Organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with reservation systems, basic administrative knowledge, and record-keeping expertise
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese; additional language skills are a plus
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to address guest concerns and provide tailored support
  • Flexibility to work in usually fixed shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good organizational, communication, and decision-making skills;
  • Integrity, sense of responsibility, proactivity, and dynamism;
