We are building the next generation of mobile apps for collectors across Beckett, Dragon Shield, and Southern Hobby. You will lead a new React Native team in Lisbon and be the technical point of contact between multiple brands, backends, and stakeholders in the group.

What You Will Do
Lead a new mobile team in Lisbon and define how we work together

  • Build and support two new React Native apps for Beckett, Dragon Shield, and Southern Hobby
  • Own key decisions in architecture, performance, and user experience
  • Coordinate technical work across backend, web, and mobile teams in multiple companies
  • Partner with product, design, and data to turn requirements into clear technical plans
  • Keep releases on track with CI/CD, code reviews, and solid testing practices
  • Support engineers through mentoring, pairing, and clear technical direction

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience leading React Native teams
  • A strong track record of shipping React Native apps on both iOS and Android
  • Deep experience with TypeScript, state management, and native modules
  • Solid understanding of mobile performance, offline behavior, error handling, and app store delivery
  • Experience setting up or improving CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
  • A habit of creating a positive engineering culture: code quality, documentation, and respectful debate
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders from different companies and time zones
  • Based in Lisbon or willing to work in a hybrid setup with regular time in the Lisbon office
  • Strong written and spoken English

Nice To Have

  • Experience integrating mobile apps with complex backends, APIs, and third-party services
  • Background in greenfield app development and migration from legacy codebases
  • Experience in trading card games, collectibles, or related hobbyist communities (or just genuine curiosity)
