Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an
Application Support Engineer
to join our application support team. You will develop both
technical and functional expertise
, handle support for assigned applications, proactively manage incidents, identify solutions to recurring issues, continuously improve and automate procedures, maintain up-to-date documentation, and coordinate closely with the development team.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve
    production incidents
    effectively.
  • Follow-up and coordinate
    changes and technical operations
    (e.g., electrical shutdowns, server modes).
  • Participate in
    change management
    for applications and infrastructure, collaborating with development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking teams.
  • Maintain
    documentation
    up-to-date, including architecture, procedures, and supervision requirements.
  • Manage
    backup data
    and perform regular
    restore tests
    .
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with
    SLAs
    across all business lines.
  • Control
    application load capacity
    and performance.
  • Participate in the
    on-call system
    and off-hours interventions.
  • Contribute to
    continuous improvement and automation
    of existing procedures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define the
    architecture of new applications
    , following infrastructure standards.

Main Technical Requirements

  • Minimum
    3 years' experience
    in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Linux and Windows environments
    and systems administration.
  • Experience with
    BMC/Control-M
    or other industrial schedulers.
  • Good knowledge of
    scripting languages
    : Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience with
    application servers
    : JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.
  • Experience with
    databases
    : Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL; basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with
    infrastructure backups
    .
  • Experience with
    monitoring tools
    (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of
    LDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos
    .
  • Knowledge of
    container-based infrastructure
    .
  • Basic
    networking knowledge
    .

  • English proficiency:
    minimum B2.
