Security leadership is a key element in our company’s growth strategy. We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team and lead the development of our security program.

We aim to create a comprehensive security framework that addresses the needs of our regulated clients. This includes strategy, policies, control frameworks, KPIs/KRIs, and board reporting.

  • Develop and implement a security program for a portfolio of clients (regulated sectors) including strategy, policies, control frameworks, KPIs/KRIs, and board reporting.
  • Lead NIS2/DORA readiness initiatives including gap assessments, remediation roadmaps, third-party risk management, operational resilience, and evidence packs.
  • Build and maintain ISO/IEC 27001: SoA, risk treatment plans, internal audits, and certification readiness.
  • Drive privacy-by-design with Legal/Data across cloud and data products including GDPR and DPIAs.
  • Establish cloud and identity guardrails including baseline hardening, vulnerability, and patch governance.
  • Oversee SIEM/SOAR and EDR operations including Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.
  • Run IR governance, improve MTTD/MTTR, and measure what matters.
  • Mentor a compact team and coordinate partners for red teaming, DFIR, and audits.
Requirements
  • 8+ years in Information Security with 3+ leading GRC / Security Programs (CISO, vCISO, Head of GRC, or similar).
  • Track record delivering NIS2/DORA or ISO 27001 in production environments.
  • One or more certifications such as C|CISO, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 LA/LI, CCSP, AZ-500/SC-200.
  • Comfortable with Azure/M365 security, Entra/Okta, Sentinel/Splunk, EDR ecosystems.
  • Strong executive communication skills including briefing boards and aligning budgets.
  • Fluent English with Portuguese being a plus.

  • 90 days: Implement controls in production, remediate top risks, establish SIEM monitoring, and conduct first tabletop exercise.
