Manufacturing IT - Senior System Engineer
AG Solution is a growing services and consulting company with offices across Europe. To support this growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic new colleague to strengthen our Manufacturing IT Team.

What We Expect From Our New Colleague

• Ensure stable, secure, and high-quality infrastructure operations according to defined procedures.
• Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure and hardware systems.
• Execute proactive patching activities, vulnerability mitigation, and troubleshooting aligned with industry standards such as ISA-95 or the Purdue Model.
• Implement new infrastructure following company guidelines.
• Contribute to automation initiatives using scripting (PowerShell, Python) and tools such as SCCM, Ansible, or similar.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand expectations and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Execute assigned tasks according to team planning and priorities.

The Wishlist for a Senior System Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure-related roles.
• Strong affinity with automation, infrastructure platforms (VMWare, Nutanix, Proxmox), networking fundamentals, and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience with IT infrastructure management tools such as SCCM, Ansible, or Intune is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Accuracy in documentation and diagnostics, with an eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver practical solutions.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and structure operational information effectively.
• A team player who communicates clearly in a remote and multicultural environment.
• Shows initiative and proactively contributes to process and automation improvements.
• Flexible working attitude and willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Availability to travel when required.
• Excellent command of English (knowledge of another European language is a plus).
• You are a European citizen or have a valid long-term European work and residence permit.
