Job Title: SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Architect

Location: Portugal - Hybrid: 2 - 3 Days to Office Every Week

Duration: 6 Months - Extendable

Employment Type: Contract B2B

Roles & Responsibilities:

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to automate and optimize marketing processes.
  • Configure data import.
  • Work with customers and platform data (SQL, views, Send Log).
  • Write basic SQL, including join statements.
  • Create dynamic, personalized marketing assets using various scripting languages. Ex. HTML, (ServerSide) Javascript, AMP-script.
  • Build Marketing Cloud web experience, data forms, custom preference, subscription pages.
  • Work through and resolve scenarios using REST and SOAP API.
  • Perform Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration activities.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track campaign effectiveness and sales performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and best practice guidance on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster continuous improvement of code quality.
  • Configure and set up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, Contact model).
  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand and document technical requirements.

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree from in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required
  • Significant experience in marketing, technology with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with and certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud features, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Web Studio and Audience Builder.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs
  • Experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
  • Experience in practicing agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments
  • Demonstrated ability to distil business requirements into solution architecture and system design across marketing and sales systems
  • Strong knowledge of business modelling and process documentation
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, data models, and common integration points with marketing systems
  • Ability to lead and facilitate technical requirements gathering, and design sessions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Certification
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification
