Technical Support Specialist – French Market – Remote

This role focuses on technical support for a French SaaS product, with an emphasis on SQL-based analysis and application-level troubleshooting.

Quarterly on-site presence in Porto is required, no experience needed.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will join the technical support team of a French company providing a financial and accounting management solution for SMEs. The role focuses on Level 3 technical support, including advanced troubleshooting and database-level analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle technical support via phone, email, and chat

  • Analyze application errors and incidents

  • Perform SQL queries and data validations

  • Support users with application-related technical issues

  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical protocols

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency

  • Contribute to process and incident improvements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent French (spoken and written)

  • English level B2

  • Experience in technical support, helpdesk, or application support

  • Solid SQL knowledge is mandatory

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Clear technical communication and ticket management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Remote within mainland Portugal

  • On-site visit in Porto once every 4 months

  • 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday

  • Working hours between 08:00–17:30 (rotational)

TRAINING

  • 12 working days, 8 hours/day (in English)

  • Paid training: EUR net per week

  • Contract signed after successful training completion

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Gross monthly package up to 1,306.66 EUR

  • Private health insurance from day one

  • Long-term role with potential permanent contract

This role is intended for candidates with strong SQL skills and hands-on technical support experience who are comfortable working remotely with occasional on-site presence in Porto.
