About the role

Our Cash Collections EMEA team, composed of 7 people, is integrated in the Order to Cash department and focuses on the analysis and control of customer's accounts in collaboration with different departments and stakeholders.

As a Cash Collections Representative, you will work on the Cash Collections process, managing a portfolio of customers from different markets in EMEA. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Solvay's Accounts and have a positive impact on Credit balance. You will be accountable for:

• Managing and analyzing a customer portfolio to identify payment trends and risks proactively.
• Driving cash flow optimization by mastering key financial metrics (DSO, Overdue %, Payment Terms) and executing strategies to meet targets.
• Building strong relationships with customers across various channels to negotiate payments while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders (GBUs, Sales, Credit, AR, OTC), collaborating to resolve disputes and accelerate the payment cycle.
• Leading root-cause analysis for blocked payments, ensuring quick resolution to secure prompt revenue collection.

We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance, Credit and Business Administration. Relevant work experience in Collections or Credit.

Competencies:

• Fluent in English and German
• Italian/ French/ Spanish languages are a plus
• Microsoft tools
• SAP and ticketing tools are a plus

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € € 28000 per year in Portugal.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
