To continue our ambitious growth plan, we are looking for an Finance Assistant to join our International Financial Team and help us manage our client portfolio and teams.

You will work alongside our Managing Director and our Group Head of Finance and be responsible for preparatory accounting, communication with the tax office and certain parts of the financial reporting process.

Through your commitment and vision, you will decisively drive forward the development of our Finance Unit at group level.

Your role :

  • You will provide operational support to our Managing Director and our Group Head of Finance in all Finance & Accounting tasks.
  • You will be responsible for the entire process of preparatory accounting.
  • You take over the correspondence with our tax office.
  • You control and monitor the invoicing and dunning process as well cashflow.
  • You prepare the monthly and annual financial statements and continuously maintain a structured accounting system by collaborating with our External Accounting Partner and Auditors.
  • You support the further development of existing processes, the sharing of best practices as well as the introduction of innovative tools with the aim of making Group Controlling even more efficient, thus expanding the cross-national Group Finance function.

What we are looking for

  • You have a degree or a commercial education and at least 3 years of work experience in the areas of finance, accounting, reporting or controlling.
  • You have expert knowledge in the Microsoft Tool suite (particularly Excel) and speak fluent Portuguese and English with excellent verbal and written expression.
  • You ideally have experience in Financial Reporting, Controlling and FP&A
  • You are characterised by your independent, structured, proactive and goal-oriented way of working.
  • You have a very good understanding of numbers, an entrepreneurial way of thinking, can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and always strive to improving how things are done
  • Team spirit and humor at work are important to you and you enjoy taking responsibility for topics.
