Role Overview
Planet Payment is looking for a passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has several years of experience with frontend development and an ambition to raise the bar for developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions that give Planet Payment and its customers a world-class product.
What You Will Do
- Motivation to work in an Agile Scrum team and to push the team towards the sprint goal.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with other team members
- Experience of working with different teams to deliver outstanding consumer facing applications
- Strong opinion and continuous evaluation of new technologies and software products
- Strong analytical and problem–solving attitude
- Creativity to handle challenges and obstacles, innovating solutions balancing both immediate needs with longer-term ownership and maintenance of application being developed
- Working knowledge and experience with software development best practices and standards
- Experience of working and helping to create design systems
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Frontend Engineer
- Excellent knowledge in TypeScript
- Experience in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
- Experience in unit test (Jest, Jasmine or similar) and browser test development (TestCafe, Cypress, Selenium or similar)
- Experience in responsive web development
- Proficient with Git
Nice To Have
- Experience in full stack development (APIs, databases, …)
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with using and extending component libraries such as Material UI or similar
- Experience with data fetching libraries such as React Query, SWR or similar
