IT Infrastructure Platform/Cloud Engineer

Noesis is looking for an IT Infra Platform Architect / IT Infra Cloud Architect.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work as an IT Infra Platform Architect within a team of talented Infrastructure Platform Architects and Engineers;
• Build, maintain, and enhance the organization's cloud-based environment;
• Deliver fully automated infrastructure services to internal teams and beyond;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including:

• IT Service Delivery

• Enterprise Architecture

• Data Analytics

• Integration teams

• Support the development and maintenance of a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem;

• Drive innovation, digitization, and optimization of the IT landscape together with your colleagues.

Key responsibilities:

• Design hybrid architectures that meet business and technical requirements. Develop infrastructure blueprints and reusable templates using tools like Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Create strategies for scalability, disaster recovery, and high availability;
• Lead cloud adoption initiatives including migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud environments. Assess existing systems and recommend which workloads to move to the cloud and how to optimize them. Ensure a smooth transition by considering factors like performance, cost, and risk;
• Governance and compliance Define security policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks for infrastructure. Ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001 in cloud deployments. Manage identity and access control, data encryption, and network security across environments;
• Technology evaluation and innovation Evaluate and recommend new cloud services, tools, or frameworks that align with business needs. Stay updated on emerging technologies like serverless computing, containerization (eg, Kubernetes), and edge computing. Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort;
• Collaboration and stakeholder engagement: Work closely with other agile cross-functional teams, including our IT service delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams, to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem;
• Automation & scripting: implement automation for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring using tools like Rundeck, Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation;
• Enable Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/ CD) for infrastructure updates;
• Design Infra Orchestration Workflows to streamline infrastructure deployment and management;
• Infrastructure optimization by modernizing legacy systems for optimal cloud performance, maximizing resource efficiency and ensuring cost-effective operations;

Requirements:

• Inglês nivel C1 minimo;
• At least 3 years as a Infra Platform Architect or a comparable role;
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• A broad background in IT infrastructure and common (on-premises) infrastructure services;
• Able to create designs for enterprise-grade infrastructure and platform services;
• Experience with agile sprint planning and aligning infrastructure development sprints with broader organizational goals;
• Affinity with automation tooling, scripting languages and DevOps practices;
• Experience with containerization technologies is a big plus (eg Docker, Kubernetes);
• A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions;
• Experience and knowledge of general networking concepts, including routing, IP addressing, and protocols, at a Cisco CCNA level or equivalent.
