Sourcing Associate - Fleet & Travel
LOCATION
- Lisbon, Portugal
HOURS
- Full-time (40 hours)
Job Summary
The Sourcing Associate is responsible for:
- Supporting sourcing and contracting initiatives to ensure the company's operational sourcing needs are met, while optimizing price and quality.
- Collaborating with the vendor/supplier during the sourcing process and resolving problems relating to Fleet & Travel operations, pricing or quality/performance.
- Maintaining vendor and contract data, Procurement analysis and documentation, to ensure process compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts assigned sourcing activities using best practices to meet customers' quality and delivery requirements at the lowest TCO, while achieving maximum overall cost-effectiveness (data collection, documentation, compliance).
- Supports the full contractual review process from negotiating commercial clauses to liaising with the legal team to obtain full legal compliance and minimize risk exposure.
- Prepares regular reporting for analyzing trends, spend patterns, out of policy spend.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to source, request quotes, manage contracts' lifecycle.
- Work with suppliers and internal departments to promptly resolve potential disruption or issues and to ensure business continuity via a continuous and secure supply of services.
- Respond to internal and external requests for information and guidance.
- Helps document processes via SOPs' documents for knowledge sharing and process standardization.
Skills Required
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create thorough analysis of alternative solutions to a problem. At ease with numbers and financials, able to understand trends and outliers from numbers.
- Proven planning & organization capabilities. Establishes standards and takes action to monitor progress, involves effectively team and peers towards goals in agreed timeframe. Experience in project management will be a plus.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Adaptable to work virtually and to manage stakeholders remotely.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required, such as Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau knowledge or any other visual analytics reporting software would be appreciated.
- Resilience and discipline to get data in a timely and standardized way.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Complete command of the English language, Spanish as a plus.
- Integrity: high ethics and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics or Supply Chain.
- 2 years of minimum experience in Procurement or Finance.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience from the automotive or travel sector, or fleet management is appreciated.
