ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic multinational legal team. This position is ideal for a legal professional with a solid common law background, a proven track record in negotiating complex international contracts, and a strong interest in technology and innovation. You will play a critical role in supporting our global operations, with a focus on international commercial negotiations, navigating the telecommunications regulatory landscape, and driving corporate compliance initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex international commercial agreements, including:
  • SaaS agreements
  • Reseller and distribution agreements
  • Licensing and partnership contracts
  • Provide strategic legal advice to business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including:
  • Anti-corruption laws
  • Data privacy regulations
  • Telecommunications regulations (a plus)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Compliance, and Product.
  • Support internal compliance programs.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities with agility.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on international commercial contracts.
  • Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, including anti-bribery and privacy laws.
  • Experience with telecom regulatory matters is a strong plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Strong interest in technology and innovation.
