The International Mobility Recruitment Department is dedicated to enhancing the mobility of IT professionals throughout Europe, facilitating the placement of talents in the various markets where it operates.

Senior Business Analyst

Location:
Lisbon - 2-3 times a week in the office

Type of Contract:
Permanent Contract


Languages Required
:

  • Fluency in
    English (B2–C1 level)
  • Fluency in
    French (B2–C1) - MANDATORY

We are only accepting candidates already in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Required Skills

  • 4+ years
    of proven experience as a
    Business Analyst
    in IT or banking environments.
  • Strong expertise in
    requirements analysis, functional specifications, user stories, story mapping, and test documentation/execution
    .
  • Hands-on experience preparing and writing functional/technical documentation.
  • Project management skills
    and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of
    SQL queries
    and database models.
  • Solid understanding of
    technical architecture
    .
  • Fluency in
    English (B2–C1 level)
  • Fluency in
    French (B2–C1) – priority given to francophone profiles.
  • For now, we are only accepting candidates already in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Expertise in
    bank transfers
    and payments operations.
  • Experience with
    Jira/Confluence
    .

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing systems and propose functional designs for enhancements.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Draft specifications, functional design documents, risk analyses, and test plans.
  • Support business stakeholders and participate in governance/committee follow-ups.
  • Prepare, execute, and monitor testing activities.
  • Support production deployment and ensure smooth operations.
  • Document and communicate functional and technical requirements effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams, business users, and external publishers/vendors.
  • Contribute to process improvement and Agile delivery practices.
