We are looking for an Amazing: Application Support

Seniority: +4 years

Type of position: HYBRID (at Porto)

The amazing you, will have:

  • Provide advanced (2nd and 3rd line) support for enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents involving applications, integrations, and infrastructure components.
  • Monitor system health and performance using enterprise
    monitoring
    tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Grafana, or similar).
  • Manage and maintain application-related
    databases
    (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Support and maintain
    virtualized
    environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and maintenance tools in
    Windows (PowerShell)
    and
    Linux (Bash/Python)
    .
  • Collaborate with network teams to diagnose connectivity, latency, and security issues.
  • Manage tickets and service requests through
    ITSM
    tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Remedy, etc.), ensuring compliance with
    SLAs
    .
  • Participate in change management, release deployment, and patching activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of procedures, incidents, and configurations.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
