Job Purpose:

The P2P Analysts role is responsible for executing day-to-day responsibilities of invoicing, payments, query resolutions, preparing reports, analysis and partners with internal departments and external customers while adhering to standard processes and procedures, supporting accountant and Team Leads on improvements. Additionally, the Regional P2P Analyst will work collaboratively with customers, internal and cross-functional teams at various levels to fulfill responsibilities. This role requires P2P operational knowledge, customer service skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently while assuming ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Key contributions:

  • Act as P2P contact person for Regional P2P GBS Organization.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly process overviews with actions plan.
  • Support development of business/process knowledge and training materials.
  • Assist accountants during audit run.
  • Validate and support accountant's recommendations for how to improve processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all agreed KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Assist Regional P2P Accountant, Team Lead and Manager for KPI reporting.
  • Provide input to the training materials related to the business processes and systems.
  • Promote a culture of exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to calmly address and resolve conflict.
  • Comfortable in interacting with various levels of authority.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong client service mentality: able to collaborate with stakeholders, employees, customers to deliver a positive experience.
  • A basic knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the P2P process stream and how these fit into the end-to-end financial process environment.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, segregation of duties and compliance best practices.
  • Strong grasp of basic accounting concepts and how P2P processes impact 's working capital targets and financial performance.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, including reading and interpreting financial reports and financial statements.
