What will you do?

  • Assist in the management and operation of Backups and Storage services, providing support to the team.

  • Contribute to the implementation of Backups and Storage strategies and projects.

  • Help maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues.

  • Collaborate with other teams to understand their Backups and Storage requirements and support design and/or implementation.

  • Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within the Backups and Storage services.

  • Assist in the development of Backups and Storage documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.

  • Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for infrastructure tasks and projects.

  • Effective communication to provide support and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in Backups and Storage technology management .

  • A continuous learner who stays abreast of industry trends and technology.

  • Relevant certifications are a plus, such as:

  • Backups: Commvault, TSM, Veeam, DPM, HPE MSL

  • Storage: Huawei, ECS Dell

  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days on-site in the Lisbon Metro area).

  • Availability to participate in standby services (24x7) on a rotation basis with other team members.
