Become our new DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

At KI Performance, we build and operate high-impact, AI-driven platforms used at scale. As a DevOps Engineer – Azure Performance & Scalability, you will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure that powers high-traffic systems serving millions of users.

This is a hands-on role for engineers who can deliver from day one, work independently, and collaborate closely with engineering, data, and AI teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate robust, scalable Azure infrastructure for performance-critical platforms

  • Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (and ARM where required), with a strong focus on governance and maintainability

  • Build, optimize, and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable deployments across multiple environments

  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of distributed systems

  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous performance improvements

  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and AI teams to deliver immediate business value

  • Create clear, pragmatic documentation for architectures and operational processes

Your profile

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in Azure-based environments

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure core services and cloud-native architectures

  • Solid experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed and high-traffic systems

  • Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding

  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

  • Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or modern data platforms

  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or AI-enabled systems

  • Experience operating platforms at enterprise or consumer scale
