Role:
Senior Database Administrator (Oracle DBA Level 3 Support)

Location:
Portugal

Required skills:
7+ years of overall professional experience, with 5+ years as a Database Administrator (DBA)

Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle 12c / 19c (mandatory)

Experience with additional databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server (plus)

Proven skills in database performance tuning (indexing, query optimization, CPU/memory troubleshooting)

Ability to provide Level 3 support, including root-cause analysis and permanent issue resolution

Experience managing core DBA activities: backup & recovery, security/access management, health checks and proactive tuning

Experience monitoring infrastructure: availability, disk capacity, logs and alerts

Experience supporting application databases: patching, data import/export, ETL processes and custom reporting

Experience gathering technical requirements, managing change requests, supporting testing and production releases

Ability to identify system gaps, propose improvements and ensure adherence to project standards

Comfortable working with global teams and technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments

Experience contributing to IT infrastructure planning, sizing and implementation projects
