As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a key role in the development of sustainable investment data products. But we don't stop there. What will you do?

  • Creating Azure cloud-based solutions to meet our regulatory reporting goals and creating integrations with data sources, our global data platform, and presentation layers developed by other teams. Your work will be critical to ensuring that we create effective and efficient solutions that meet our reporting and information needs.
  • Build and deploy ETL solutions in Azure, using cloud-native components (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow).
  • Identify and manage dependencies and risks. You are a key player in ensuring that we deliver our products and services in accordance with all security and compliance guidelines.
  • You'll work closely with other data engineers and business stakeholders, and be at the forefront of ensuring high quality and accessibility of the data.
  • Proactively participate in team decisions and challenge your team members about solutions presented.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining solutions for complex datasets in the Microsoft Azure stack: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps (pipelines).
  • Working together on innovative solutions for complex business issues.
  • Create scalable data products to drive Self-Service Business Intelligence and thus boost data-driven working.

What are we looking for?

  • Senior Data Engineer with team leading experience.
  • HBO/WO working and thinking level.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Seeing a challenge in finding solutions to complex issues.
  • Courage to work with the latest techniques and to put this down structurally within the team.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and developing ETL solutions.
  • Experience working in the Azure data platform such as ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of data modelling in Analysis Services or Power BI, for example.
