Your role:
  • Defining the project test approach for Salesforce deliveries, including scope, feature acceptance criteria, exit criteria, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Analyzing and reviewing Salesforce requirements, user stories, and process flows to define robust test scenarios, in close collaboration with Business Analysts, including test validation and sign-off.
  • Take ownership of test data management by proactively determining what data is needed for each release, coordinating data requests with the appropriate teams.
  • Developing and executing manual test scripts for Salesforce platform components.
  • Managing defect triage and resolution process within Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring effective communication with development and business teams.
  • Reporting to stakeholders on all aspects of test progress, quality metrics, and risks.
  • Ensuring that testing practices align with VWFS Test Strategy and Salesforce platform best practices.
  • Maintaining relationships with 3rd parties, including Salesforce development partners and test automation providers.
  • Ensuring appropriate test data management and environment readiness specific to Salesforce clouds.
  • Promoting continuous improvement, such as sharing lessons learned across Salesforce projects, evolving test strategies, and supporting the maintenance of Salesforce-specific knowledge repositories.
  • Ensuring close collaboration between test teams to maximize ROI from Salesforce test automation tools.

Level of decision-making power/authorization:

  • Mitigation of test risks within Salesforce projects
  • Allocation of QA testing resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality Salesforce solutions
  • Agreement on testing scope, tools and risk-based test coverage with impacted business areas to enable rapid delivery
Your profile:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of experience in Test Lead or equivalent roles
  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce Test Lead or equivalent roles
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce platform (Retail Cloud and Customer Data Cloud)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in international project teams
  • High degree of initiative, responsibility, assertiveness, and flexibility
  • Organized, with strong team coordination capabilities
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA + test management plugins (e.g., Xray, Zephyr)
  • ISTQB certification Foundation level
Nice to have:
  • ISTQB certification Test Manager (or higher)
  • Experience with Salesforce test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Copado, Selenium)
  • Developing and executing automated test scripts for Salesforce platform components
  • Knowledge of Wholesale, Retail Financing, Leasing, and Fleet Business
  • Proficient in written and spoken German
