We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer (Backend) to join our dynamic and innovative team.

As a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform to ensure its performance, scalability, and usability. 

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless online shopping experiences, maximize customer engagement, and drive revenue
growth. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:

• E-commerce Development: Lead the development, customization, and optimization of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to meet the company's business objectives.

• Code Review and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior developers.

• Integration: Collaborate with other internal teams to integrate third-party systems, payment gateways, and external APIs to enhance the functionality of the platform.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring fast page loading times and a smooth shopping experience.

• Customization: Develop custom cartridges, pipelines, and controllers as necessary to extend the platform's capabilities.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Create and maintain automated tests and work closely with QA teams to ensure the stability and reliability of the e-commerce platform.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.

• Security: Implement and maintain robust security practices to protect customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the online store.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development.

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification is a plus.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relevant web technologies.

• Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.

• English is a must, german a plus
