Controller Trainee

You'll be focused in

• Supporting the Management Control team in financial analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring activities
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Working with financial and operational data to support decision‑making across the business
• Collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and other business stakeholders to ensure data consistency and clarity
• Helping prepare clear and structured presentations (PowerPoint) to communicate financial insights and recommendations
• Developing a solid understanding of business performance drivers and cost structures
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, tools, and reports
• Exploring and adopting new tools, automations, or simple programming solutions to increase efficiency in day‑to‑day work

In order to succeed, you'll need

• A degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Management Control, or a related field
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Management Control and Finance from a broad, business‑oriented perspective
• Good knowledge of Excel, including formulas, data analysis concepts, and Pivot Tables (basic concepts are expected)
• Basic to intermediate PowerPoint skills, with the ability to structure information clearly and consistently
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a mature and professional approach
• Analytical mindset and ability to break down financial and business problems into clear, actionable insights
• Curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to learn and grow, with potential to evolve into a permanent Controller role

Nice To Have

• Basic programming knowledge (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, or similar)
• Interest in exploring digital tools and automation to improve efficiency
