YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a
Back End Java Developer
to join our teams in Lisbon or Porto.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Java 17+, and Hibernate
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of applications
• Design and implement scalable and efficient backend features
• Develop and integrate APIs and microservices using Java Spring frameworks
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and enforce best practices
• Implement unit, integration, and performance testing
• Work closely with frontend developers, business analysts, and testers
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java 17+, Hibernate, Cloud & Microservice Architecture
• Experience in SQL database management
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Test containers)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, GitLab)
• Strong expertise in API development (RESTful APIs, Swagger)
• Knowledge of version control & Agile methodologies (Git, GitLab, Scrum)
• English and portuguese fluent
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
