Role Overview

Outsite is seeking a creative Social & Brand Content Lead to bring our brand to life through authentic, engaging content. You'll be the face and voice of Outsite across social platforms—creating short-form videos, telling member stories, and building community through scroll-stopping content that captures the magic of remote work and travel.

This is a unique opportunity to combine content creation, social strategy, and community building while traveling to beautiful Outsite locations and connecting with our global member community.

What You'll Own

Content Creation (30%)

  • Produce 20-30 short-form videos per month (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Appear on camera as a recognizable face of Outsite
  • Create photo and video assets at Outsite locations (travel 2-3x per quarter)
  • Develop creative concepts, series ideas, and trending content hooks
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and adapt content strategy accordingly

Social Media Management (25%)

  • Manage daily posting across Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn
  • Write engaging social copy that reflects Outsite's brand voice
  • Respond to DMs, comments, and build community engagement
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing on monthly content calendars
  • Outreach to influencers aligned with Outsite brand
  • Report on influencer engagement
  • Track performance metrics and provide monthly insights

Member Stories & UGC (15%)

  • Liaise with Outsite members for testimonials and social features
  • Manage UGC collection systems and member content coordination
  • Save influencer content to the Outsite Content Library
  • Build authentic relationships with members to encourage content sharing
  • Capture and share real member experiences and success stories

Creative Support (20%)

  • Create simple graphics for social and email using Canva/Figma/Adobe
  • Work directly work members to produce creative content in the shape of How we met at Outsite, Member Stories and more (usually done via typeform and email follow up)
  • Support influencer and creator collaborations with outreach, briefs and reporting
  • Support campaign launches with quick-turnaround visuals
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing on creative projects
  • Provide content assets for ads, website, and other marketing channels

What We're Looking For

Experience:

  • 2-4 years in social media management, content creation, or digital storytelling
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong video and photo content
  • Experience managing multiple social platforms
  • Understanding of platform algorithms and content best practices

Skills:

  • On-camera confidence

— you're natural and engaging on video
- Video editing proficiency

— skilled in CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools
- Platform expertise

— deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Strong writing

— you write compelling social copy quickly and naturally
- Creative eye

— you capture beautiful, engaging content that tells stories
- Self-directed

— you manage your own production schedule and priorities
- Photography skills

— bonus but not required

What Success Looks Like (90 Days)

  • Posting high-quality content 5-6 days per week across all platforms
  • 60+ pieces of content published with consistent brand quality
  • Measurable growth in engagement rates and follower growth
  • Established content production workflow and systems
  • UGC pipeline flowing with regular member contributions
  • Strong collaborative relationship with Head of Marketing
  • You've found your authentic voice as the face of Outsite
