TASKS

  • Support the transition to the S/4HANA environment hosted on SAP ECS (private cloud) with Azure as hyperscaler
  • Ensure stable operations through continuous monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimization across the SAP system landscape
  • Collaborate closely with SAP module teams, developers, and infrastructure/network teams to implement and support cross-functional solutions
  • Coordinate and oversee system upgrades, release changes, and patching cycles in alignment with SAP ECS governance
  • Manage core SAP Basis functions
  • Support and optimize SAP interface systems and integrations (e.g., Cloud Connector, BTP, print servers) to ensure efficient data communication
  • Maintain and improve documentation and operational standards to support process consistency and landscape transparency
  • Provide technical support for ongoing SAP-related projects and ensure alignment with ITSM processes
  • Contribute to internal initiatives focused on continuous improvement and landscape evolution

PROFILE

  • Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally in hybrid cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and landscape design, including S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BW, Solution Manager, BTP, CloudConnector, and others
  • Proficiency with SAP HANA, Sybase, and other relevant databases; experience with Linux and Windows OS in SAP contexts
  • Familiarity with SAP ECS, RISE, and hyperscaler environments
  • Experience with performance optimization, system integration, and migration strategies
  • Structured and methodical approach with attention to documentation and process standardization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly across teams
  • Comfortable working in interdisciplinary environments and coordinating with external service providers
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent training as an IT specialist
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to navigate complex technical landscapes with autonomy and clarity
  • You need to already be living in Portugal,
    preferably in the Lisbon metropolitan area (We will not accept applicants from outside Portugal)
