We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that will be used by our clients in their day-to-day accounting tasks. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and transform them into creative design solutions. Your ability to empathize with users and keep their needs at the forefront will be crucial as you design web and mobile applications that not only look good but also drive functionality and efficiency. As part of our mission to make accounting accessible and pleasant, you'll use your creativity and analytical skills to conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and iterate on your designs based on feedback. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define user experience requirements.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that clearly communicate design ideas and concepts.
  • Develop user personas and user journey maps that guide the design process.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics data to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all designs are in alignment with Hyphen's brand guidelines and design standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in a technology or accounting-related environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process, highlighting your problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar programs.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
