About the job Revenue Analyst
MGM Muthu Hotels is looking for a proven Revenue Analyst who specializes in optimal revenue performance and distribution. The position is based in Algarve and will manage our Portugal properties, reporting to the Group Commercial Head.
Responsibilities
Manages Pricing and Inventory. Ensures Inventory is allocated and restricted properly to maximize revenue and profits for hotels in the market. Responsible for building rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel(s) inventory systems. The position makes pricing and positioning recommendations for market hotels. Conducts analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel rooms and space inventory. Position contributes to forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections. Position critiques sales strategy effectiveness and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities.
Skills
Previous experience in Revenue Management is an asset.
Understanding of hotel revenue strategy and distribution
Excellent proficiency with revenue management tools and systems such as PMS(Host),
Channel Manager (SiteMinder), OTA Extranets, TravelClick, Tableau, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, etc.
Heightened attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to leverage strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
