Miles as developed with flexibility in mind to manage the full business life cycle of a leasing company. From contracts in private lease to company vehicle lease or subscription-based usage, all from a single platform.
As a software engineer within our Miles Core team, you're not only maintaining an existing product; you're contributing to its evolution.
- Extending Miles Core with new/improved generic features.
- Performing technical analysis, design and implementation for back-end and front-end applications.
- Addressing non-functional requirements f.i. security, performance and technical upgrades to the platform.
A passion for developing and building solutions is at the top of our list. As a Software Engineer, it is also key to be able to keep the bigger picture in mind and how different elements are intertwined.
Problem-solving is one of your strongest abilities, and you do this in a methodical way. If you are a team player as well, you're the perfect blend.
We'd love to see the following aspects as well:
- Several years (3+) of experience in an engineering role within an enterprise software product environment.
- Proficiency in Java and Java EE
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server.
- Experience working in an Agile way.
- Fluent in English, as we are an international and multicultural company.
- Knowledge in GWT/SmartGWT is a plus.
