Aeconos Lda, the affiliate of A2F Consulting in Portugal is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our growing team in Lisbon, Portugal.
This role will play a key part in supporting our expanding operations and ensuring effective HR practices across the organization.

Founded in ****, we have established a strong global presence with offices in Washington, D.C., Frankfurt, Germany, and now Lisbon, Portugal through our affiliate Aeconos Lda
The HR Manager will oversee the human resources function for our company in Portugal.
Aeconos Lda was incorporated a year ago and has currently about 20 staff.
We expect the team to grow by 50% by the end of ****.
The advertised position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, capable of managing HR function while ensuring smooth operational processes across the business.
Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
Develop and implement HR policies aligned with local labor laws and company objectives.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs.
Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
Ensure compliance with Portuguese employment regulations and maintain accurate HR records.
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
Operations Oversight
Coordinate office administration, vendor management, and procurement.
Monitor operational workflows to ensure adequate staffing and efficiency
Support budgeting and resource allocation in collaboration with finance.
Implement process improvements and operational best practices.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Foster a culture of compliance, operational excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in operations management within a professional services or consulting environment.
Experience with project management tools, CRM and ERP systems would be a plus
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English required.
