Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP FI Consultant to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As an SAP FI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP FI solutions that meet business requirements and drive financial process improvements.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP FI modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting
- Analyze client business processes and provide recommendations for process improvements using SAP best practices
- Develop functional specifications for SAP FI customizations and enhancements
- Configure and test SAP FI modules to meet client requirements
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP FI
- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for SAP FI processes
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules and third-party systems
- Stay updated on the latest SAP FI developments and recommend innovative solutions to clients
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting activities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in SAP FI implementation and support
- Strong expertise in SAP FI module configuration and customization
- Proficiency in multiple SAP FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and processes
- Experience in full project lifecycle implementations
- Basic knowledge of ABAP programming
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP FI Certification is preferred
- Willingness to travel as required for client projects
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
