We're Hiring | IT Business Analyst – Financial Markets


Lisbon (Hybrid – 2 days per week at the office)

We are looking for an
IT Business Analyst
to join a dynamic team working on a
Securities Finance application
.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging business and technology, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & User Stories
  • Collect, analyse and translate business requirements into clear and well-structured User Stories.
  • Functional Specifications
  • Write comprehensive functional specifications that support development teams and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Functional Testing
  • Work closely with developers to drive and execute functional testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring quality, reliability and consistency.
  • User Training & Support
  • Deliver user training sessions and provide ongoing functional support to guarantee optimal system usage and user satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Financial Markets Knowledge
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and basic financial instruments. Knowledge of
    Securities Finance
    is a strong advantage.
  • PL/SQL Proficiency
  • Proven experience with PL/SQL, particularly in data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Agile Experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including active participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with technical teams, stakeholders and end users.
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Ability to analyse complex requirements, identify risks and propose effective and innovative solutions.
  • Client-Focused Mindset
  • A strong focus on understanding user needs and delivering solutions that add real business value.

Work Model

  • Hybrid
    : 2 days per week at the office in
    Lisbon
    , remaining days remote.
