What you will do:
- Identify and contact selected restaurants through cold calls, walk-ins and planned meetings.
- Manage the full sales process, from first contact to closing the deal and publishing the restaurant on TheFork and partner websites.
- Present and sell TheFork products and services, including promotions, software tools, booking widgets, and training and marketing solutions.
- Explain clearly how TheFork Manager and the TheFork network can help restaurants grow their business.
- Manage your own sales pipeline and make regular outbound calls to potential customers.
- Follow up with prospects, handle questions and objections, and find solutions to move deals forward.
- Negotiate commercial terms, including rates and margins, and close new business agreements.
- Represent TheFork professionally in all interactions, both in person and online.
- Work closely with sales operations, supplier support and account management teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Take part in trade events, meetings with partners or internal team meetings when required.
Who you are:
You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications
- Fluent in Portuguese, with a good level of written and spoken English.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally in an online or technology-driven company.
- Experience managing outbound sales activities and closing new business.
- Comfortable working with targets and taking responsibility for results.
You Can Impress With These Additions
- Experience in the restaurant, hospitality or food & beverage industry, especially selling to HORECA customers.
- Experience with direct contact sales, including cold calling and face-to-face meetings.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a sales territory and pipeline using Salesforce or another CRM tool.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.
Well organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
