What you will do:

  • Identify and contact selected restaurants through cold calls, walk-ins and planned meetings.
  • Manage the full sales process, from first contact to closing the deal and publishing the restaurant on TheFork and partner websites.
  • Present and sell TheFork products and services, including promotions, software tools, booking widgets, and training and marketing solutions.
  • Explain clearly how TheFork Manager and the TheFork network can help restaurants grow their business.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline and make regular outbound calls to potential customers.
  • Follow up with prospects, handle questions and objections, and find solutions to move deals forward.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including rates and margins, and close new business agreements.
  • Represent TheFork professionally in all interactions, both in person and online.
  • Work closely with sales operations, supplier support and account management teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Take part in trade events, meetings with partners or internal team meetings when required.

Who you are:

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications

  • Fluent in Portuguese, with a good level of written and spoken English.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally in an online or technology-driven company.
  • Experience managing outbound sales activities and closing new business.
  • Comfortable working with targets and taking responsibility for results.

You Can Impress With These Additions

  • Experience in the restaurant, hospitality or food & beverage industry, especially selling to HORECA customers.
  • Experience with direct contact sales, including cold calling and face-to-face meetings.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing a sales territory and pipeline using Salesforce or another CRM tool.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.
    Well organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
