As part of our group operations, we provide accounting, reporting, and regulatory support across multiple internal entities and client-facing structures in the financial services and crypto space.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Group Accountant
to manage the financial operations across our in-house and client entities. This includes traditional accounting as well as reporting for entities involved in digital assets, FX transactions, and financial licensing frameworks.
This is an ideal role for someone who's comfortable working in a regulated, multi-entity setup, understands the nuances of crypto and FX accounting, and is motivated to modernize finance workflows with automation and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and consolidate accounting across multiple regulated entities in the group and for selected client mandates
- Oversee bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations (multi-currency and crypto-based)
- Design and implement workflows for transaction recording, wallet/FIAT reconciliation, and treasury processes
- Integrate and monitor accounting tools (e.g., Xero, Datev, QuickBooks, crypto-native tools)
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and tax advisors to ensure reporting and operational alignment
- Assist in the automation of finance workflows using AI and rule-based systems
- Prepare internal reporting, licensing documentation support, and audits
Your Profile
- 5+ years experience in accounting, finance, or audit – ideally with exposure to financial institutions or fintechs
- Strong working knowledge of crypto accounting, FX transactions, etc
- Experience with accounting software (ABACUS) and reporting tools (ideally including crypto-specific tools) is a plus
- Interest or experience in streamlining financial workflows using AI or automation
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across jurisdictions and currencies
- Fluent in English (spoken/written); German or other languages are a plus
