Job Description
As an IT Senior Engineer Web Development, you will strengthen our team and take our Web Ecosystem to the next level. You will work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers, and keep an eye on billing details, contract deadlines and license conditions as well.

In your new role you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customer software solutions
  • Combine business and functional requirements with non-functional requirements to find the best solution for our customers, balancing effort, maintainability, and value
  • Take care of code reviews, monitoring, problem analysis, documentation, and also the optimization of performance, stability, maintainability, and reusability
  • Ensure secure and stable operations of software solutions in close cooperation with internal & external suppliers and the sustaining functions
  • Focus on IT security enhancements and regression prevention, especially on cloud-based architectures
  • Ensure proper and proactive reporting to the IT management and project management
  • Work on concepts and prototypes together with your team colleagues
  • Drive as an Agile team player, work together with value stream-driven development teams on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of customer collaboration platforms and self-service offers
  • Be the IT contact, a project team member, or also a project consultant towards stakeholders when you are part of a project
  • Present and discuss results on different management levels within IT and with our internal customers, e.g. Sales & Marketing and the Communications department

Your Profile
As a true team player, you cooperate across boundaries, appreciate the contributions of other team members, and respect their different attitudes and points of view. At the same time, you have a clear notion of how innovative IT solutions contribute to the commercial success of the company. In order to reach the best results, you establish lasting relationships with your customers and listen actively to their thoughts and ideas. Furthermore, you know how to balance those requirements with technical or legal possibilities, and you are able to show them the added value of our available solutions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and Management, or a similar field, ideally with a focus on Web Technologies. Experience in Sales & Marketing environments would be a plus
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes), Java, SQL, RESTful APIs, databases and server-side technologies
  • Technical and practical experience with Web Application Frameworks, Web Protocols and Web Frontend technologies, like Stencil, Angular, React,
  • Experience with Enterprise Level Web Content Management Solutions, e.g. Adobe Experience Manager would be a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration / Continues Delivery and DevOps setups
  • Preferable experience with Analytics and Data Integration Solutions like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and business intelligence solutions as well as with Microsoft Dynamics and the Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Basic experience related to Test Management, Service Management, and Operations Stabilization
  • Passion for stable services and web application operations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional global teams
  • Fluent English language skills, basic Portuguese language skills would be a plus
