We are looking for a highly organized person to test the software designed and developed by one of our development's teams. 

The main responsibility of this role is to identify any issues within a product before it gets deployed to the end-users. This involves developing and running software test plans, interacting with teams, and submitting detailed reports of findings.  The role is based in the LS Retail's Porto, Portugal office   

Main assignments: 

  • Work on the quality of the software by testing new development to ensure that defects are discovered and corrected, and that the software works as required. 
  • Create and document application test plans based on product backlog items and technical specifications. 
  • Execute test cases and report defects, defining severity and priority for each defect. 
  • Participate in the Agile development process as a member of a cross-functional development team. 
  • Take part in running automated test processes to ensure quality.   

The following Qualifications are required:

  • Knowledge and experience of testing software
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Team-player with solid collaboration skills
  • Good English communication skills 

The following Qualifications are advantage: 

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or higher
  • Knowledge and experience using Test Plans for Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of retail processes
  • Knowledge of Business Central or other ERP systems
