We're Hiring | IT Business Analyst – Financial Markets Lisbon (Hybrid – 2 days per week at the office)We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a dynamic team working on a Securities Finance application . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging business and technology, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & User Stories Collect, analyse and translate business requirements into clear and well-structured User Stories. Functional Specifications Write comprehensive functional specifications that support development teams and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs. Functional Testing Work closely with developers to drive and execute functional testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring quality, reliability and consistency. User Training & Support Deliver user training sessions and provide ongoing functional support to guarantee optimal system usage and user satisfaction. Key Requirements Financial Markets Knowledge Solid understanding of financial markets and basic financial instruments. Knowledge of Securities Finance is a strong advantage. PL/SQL Proficiency Proven experience with PL/SQL, particularly in data retrieval and manipulation. Agile Experience Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including active participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Fluent English Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with technical teams, stakeholders and end users. Strong Analytical Skills Ability to analyse complex requirements, identify risks and propose effective and innovative solutions. Client-Focused Mindset A strong focus on understanding user needs and delivering solutions that add real business value.
