Your contribution to something big: As our Development & Test Engineer, you will join our fast-growing, cross-functional product development team in Aveiro.
You will be responsible for ensuring performance in our residential heat pumps, driving product development through virtual testing, system-level validation, and physical data correlation: Specify, develop, and execute virtual and system-level tests for residential heat pump systems. Develop and apply advanced MATLAB/Simulink-based models and virtual testing environments to simulate physical behaviors. Analyze product, customer, and safety requirements to translate them into robust, structured validation strategies and technical test cases.
Design and run system validation plans, correlating virtual simulation results with real-world physical test bench data. Coordinate key product market-introduction activities, supporting product certification, physical verification, and technical documentation. Support production ramp-up activities and collaborate closely with manufacturing plants to ensure test methods align with assembly constraints.
Apply product-engineering and quality methodologies (such as FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM) to drive continuous quality and optimization in our product portfolio. What distinguishes you:
