Android developer Job Title: Android Developer (Contract)
- Lisbon We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of the Android platform and its latest trends, as well as experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on Android. This is a contract position that offers a competitive salary of $900 per month and does not include accommodation. All nationalities are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development Continuously improve app performance and user experience Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development for Android platform Strong understanding of Java and Kotlin programming languages Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Strong communication skills Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with Git version control system Knowledge of UI/UX principles Previous experience working on large-scale projects Familiarity with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
