Our mission is to build strong relationships and support the development of every team member.With projects in Nearshore, Time & Material, Service Management, and Tech Academies, you will find opportunities to learn, innovate, and grow in your career.Key Responsibilities:Data Modeling & EngineeringDesign and maintain semantic models (star/snowflake schemas) optimized for analytics and reportingBuild and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sourcesEnsure data quality, consistency, and performance across BI solutionsAnalytics & ReportingDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance standardsTranslate business requirements into technical BI solutionsPerformance & OptimizationOptimize SQL queries, data models, and report performance for large-scale datasetsMonitor and tune BI workloads in cloud and on-prem environmentsCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with business users to understand KPIs, metrics, and reporting needsPartner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product teamsProvide guidance and best practices to analysts and report developersGovernance & Best PracticesDefine and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and documentationSupport data lineage, metadata management, and auditabilityEnsure compliance with security and privacy requirementsRequired Qualifications:Strong SQL skills (query optimization, indexing, complex joins)Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, SQL Server)Hands-on experience with Power BI (semantic models, DAX, DirectQuery, Premium)Understanding of ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Airflow, dbt, SSIS, Fivetran, etc.)Solid knowledge of data modeling techniques (Kimball, dimensional modeling)Ability to translate business questions into data models and KPIsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindsetEnglish proficiency at minimum B2 levelNice to Have:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Familiarity with Python for data processing or automationExperience with DevOps / CI/CD for BI (Git, deployment pipelines)Knowledge of data governance frameworksWhy Join Us?Contract Type: Permanent / Employment contract or B2B, according to preferenceHealth Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for your well-beingHybrid Model: 2/3 days per week in the office (Porto)Continuous Learning: Access to a Udemy Business subscription with thousands of courses and workshopsTeam Culture: A collaborative, relaxed, and innovative environmentIf you meet the above criteria and are ready for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment, send us your CV
