Your new Company: A global industrial company is expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) operations and establishing a regional GBS satellite in Portugal to support Europe operations.This is your opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape GBS from the inside outYour new Role:As an O2C Junior Accountant, you will carry out Sales and Billing activities, including working with internal and external customers in the billing process to guarantee accuracy, maximise the collection of cash and reduce overdue debt.Your responsibilities will include: Undertake order management (Process Sales Order, chase project managers and administrators to update project).Create and distribute invoices.Manage disputes, dunning and cash collection tasks including dispute.Complete sales ledger responsibility; including processing sales order, cash collection & sales ledger integrity.Achieve agreed collection targets.Ensure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy, and chase payments from customers on a regular basis.Ensure that all business queries are resolved within agreed timeframes.Ensure all client queries are resolved within agreed timeframes.Take ownership of targets and objective.Engage in and contribute to Sales Administration's projects.What you will need to be successful: Undergraduate degree would be an advantage as well as a previous O2C experience or working in a finance environment.Accounting qualification would be a plus.Strong command of verbal and written Spanish and English.French language is a plus.Excellent IT skills, including Excel.Good systems knowledge, preferably experience working with SAP.Proven track record of achieving KPI'sDeliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlinesMust be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the optimum communication channel as well as excellent customer service skillsPro-active, responsive and action orientatedAn individual & team player meeting the demands of bothA focus on quality.What the Company can offer you: Be at the heart of enabling global GBS operations;Work in a multicultural, global team environment;Shape the employee and customer experience agenda in a growing organization.Next Step: If you are interested in this opportunity, please send us your updated CV.
