DevSecOps / SOC Engineer – Major Telco Organisation - Portuguese Nationality RequiredLocation - Porto or Lisbon (1 day onsite a week minimum)Type - FreelanceWe're looking for an experienced DevSecOps / SOC Engineer to design, build, and secure cloud envrionment security platforms that operate at telecom (network-operator) scale. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll create the foundations of a modern SOC, not just run it.You'll work with Kubernetes, containers, cloud, and automation to deploy highly scalable, resilient security services with the freedom to design architectures, innovate, and own your solutions end-to-end.What you'll be buildingCloud environment, containerised SOC and security platformsLarge-scale architectures supporting heavy routing and high-volume networksSIEM detection, threat hunting, and threat intelligence solutionsAutomated, secure by design deployments using modern DevSecOps practicesWhat we're looking forStrong networking knowledge (CCNA level or equivalent real-world experience)Programming and automation experience in a security or SOC environmentHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platformsSolid security fundamentals and a passion for building resilient systemsConfidence to work autonomously and influence architectural decisionsPortuguese nationality and speakingNice to havesTelecom or network-operator backgroundExperience with routing, data centres, or large-scale infrastructureThis company really are setting the trend in Portuguese Telco Cybersecurity, if you are interested in joining and taking the next step in your career, please apply.
