Location:
Braga, Portugal.
Salary:
$1,100 per month. Contract: 12‐month contract with potential for extension based on performance. Visa and airfare subsidizing are provided for international candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Develop machine learning models and algorithms to analyze large datasets. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques. Design experiments, collect data, and evaluate model performance. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and tools. Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, etc. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch). Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques and feature engineering. Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big data tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure). Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques. Prior experience working on projects involving computer vision or deep learning is a plus. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds including students without prior work experience.
