Informix Database Service Manager

Responsibilities:
Act as the main technical contact for clients regarding Informix databases and related services.
Coordinate DBAs, infrastructure, networking, application, and support teams.
Monitor service performance, incidents, risks, and SLA compliance.
Lead service reviews, communicate changes, and follow up on agreed actions.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate capacity planning, backups, recovery, and service continuity.
Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.
Requirements:
Experience in database administration, support, or operations.
Solid knowledge of IBM Informix architecture, monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of SQL and relevant operating systems.
Ability to interpret logs, performance metrics, and database issues.
Experience in IT service management and client-facing technical coordination.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA management.
Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
Technical English proficiency.
