Surveyor Job Title: Surveying Assistant We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveying Assistant in Funchal. As a Surveying Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to collect and analyze data for various construction and land development projects. This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience, making it an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in surveying. We are open to candidates of all nationalities and provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Assist surveyors with collecting and analyzing data using various tools and equipment
Help set up and operate survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
Conduct surveys in the field, including measuring distances and angles, taking notes, and recording data
Create detailed maps, diagrams, and reports based on collected data
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data collection and analysis
Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
Follow all safety protocols while working on job sites
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred but not required
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Proficiency in using survey equipment and software preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Must be willing to learn new techniques and technologies related to surveying
Salary The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
Location This position is based in Funchal.
